Rinaldi Street, the long spine of the neighbourhood, is a fast road with left turns into the Porter Ranch Town Center at Corbin Avenue and into the Vineyards at Porter Ranch Drive; those turns across oncoming traffic are where the intersection collisions happen.
The hillside streets north of Rinaldi are steep and curving, and cyclists and runners share them with cars coming down too fast. The parking lots at the Town Center and the Vineyards are the source of the low-speed collisions and the slip and falls.
